조윤영은 노래(가곡, 가사, 시조)의 소리와 구조, 언어의 결을 몸으로 익히며 나아가는 보컬이다.
어린 시절부터 소리에 대한 꾸준한 호기심으로 전통 성악 장르인 정가에 매료되어 가객의 길을 선택했고,
과정의 미학이 담긴 조화로운 음악을 지속적으로 탐구해왔다.

제42회 온나라국악경연대회 금상(문화체육부 장관상, 2022)을 수상하고, 경기시나위오케스트라 프로젝트 단원(2022~2024)으로 활동했다.
현재는 국가무형유산 가곡 이수자이자 듀오 솔솔과 앙상블 시작의 동인으로서 다양한 무대에 오르며,
목소리를 통해 소리의 시공간을 다시 짓는 몰입의 경험을 나누고 있다.
 

Yoon-Young Cho is a traditional Korean vocalist specializing in jeongga—the classical vocal genres

gagok, gasa, and sijo.
Drawn to sound from a young age, she found her path in the refined world of jeongga and continues to explore its harmony and aesthetics through performance and creation.

She received the Grand Prize (Prime Minister’s Award) at the 16th National Jeongga Competition (2017) and the Gold Prize at the 42nd Onnara Korean Music Competition (2022).
A certified trainee of Korea’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Gagok, she has performed with the National Gugak Center’s Youth Ensemble and the Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra.
As a founding member of Duo Solsol and Ensemble Sijak, she expands tradition through interdisciplinary works and contemporary collaborations.
